American profile extrusion tooling
With 27 years of experience in American profile extrusion tooling, we specialize in custom window & door systems that avoid patent conflicts. Our tooling supports all U.S. styles: casement, fixed double-hung, sliding, tilt & turn, and fixed sliding patio doors. We understand American assembly—punching hardware holes requires low calcium carbonate (8 phr) to prevent cracking. For finishes, we offer spray, ASA co-extrusion (+$120/MT), or lamination (+$200/MT). Our engineers provide full technical support—your success is our priority.
American Profile Extrusion Tooling – Technical Expertise & Value Proposition
1. Unmatched Engineering Experience – 27 Years in U.S. Profile Systems
Our engineering team brings 27 years of hands-on experience in American-style profile design, window and door assembly, and hardware integration. We don’t just make American profile extrusion tooling – we understand the complete system.
Unlike general extrusion shops, we design with the end-user assembly line in mind. Every profile we create is optimized for rapid fabrication, proper hardware alignment, and consistent structural performance.
Our Commitment:
If standard off-the-shelf hardware cannot be properly installed on our profiles, we will refund the full American profile extrusion tooling cost. This guarantee is backed by decades of proven success with major U.S. and Canadian window manufacturers.
Custom Systems & Patent Avoidance:
We specialize in developing proprietary window and door systems tailored to your specific market needs. Our engineers work closely with you to create unique profile geometries that:
· Achieve your desired performance targets (air, water, structural)
· Streamline assembly and reduce labor costs
· Avoid infringing on existing patents – we conduct thorough design reviews to ensure your system is legally safe and commercially viable
Whether you need a complete new system or modifications to an existing line, we deliver solutions that are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective.

2. Complete American Window & Door Product Line
We offer comprehensive American profile extrusion tooling for all major American-style window and door types:
· Casement Windows (Crank-Operated) – side-hinged, outward opening with crank hardware
· Fixed Double-Hung Windows – traditional hung appearance with fixed sashes (non-operable)
· Fixed Sliding Windows – horizontal rollers with one or both panels fixed
· Tilt & Turn Fixed Windows – European-style operation adapted to American profiles
· Double-Hung with Dual Tilt & Turn – both sashes operable with tilt-in cleaning feature
· Double-Sliding Windows – both sashes operable horizontally
· Fixed Sliding Patio Doors – FO (Fixed-Operable) configuration with stationary and sliding panels
For any of these styles, we provide complete American profile extrusion tooling packages including main frames, sashes, meeting rails, jambs, and accessories.

3. American Assembly Methods – Critical Formulation Differences
American-style window assembly is fundamentally different from European systems. The most critical difference lies in hardware attachment.
In U.S. and Canadian fabrication, hardware mounting holes are typically punched or stamped directly into the PVC profile, not drilled or screwed into metal reinforcements as is common in Europe.
This stamping process places high stress on the material. If the PVC compound contains excessive calcium carbonate (CaCO₃ / filler), the profile will crack or split during punching – resulting in high scrap rates and production delays.
Our Recommended Formulation:
· Optimal ratio: 8 parts calcium carbonate per 100 parts PVC (8 phr)
· This balance provides sufficient rigidity for structural integrity while maintaining excellent impact resistance and punchability
· Profiles run cleaner, stamp cleaner, and assembly lines run faster with fewer rejects
We work with our customers’ compound suppliers to ensure formulation consistency for trouble-free fabrication.

4. Surface Finishing Options – Durability Meets Aesthetics
American and Canadian customers demand rich, long-lasting color options. Most U.S. assembly plants use post-extrusion spray painting to achieve custom colors. However, we offer three surface treatment methods with distinct cost-performance profiles:
Method Cost Level Durability Best Use Case
Spray Painting Lowest Good – 5–10 years High-volume, cost-sensitive projects where color change is frequent
ASA Co-Extrusion American profile extrusion tooling Moderate Excellent – 15+ years color stability Premium residential and commercial projects requiring long-term weatherability
Offline Lamination (Film) Highest Superior – various textures/woodgrains Luxury architectural applications and specialty finishes
Our Recommendation:
For most North American climate conditions, we strongly recommend ASA co-extrusion as the best value option:
· Cost: Approximately +$120 per metric ton over standard white PVC
· Performance: Superior UV resistance – no noticeable fading or chalking for at least 15 years
· Process: Co-extruded during profile production – no secondary handling, no VOC emissions, consistent color throughout
For customers requiring woodgrain or specialty textures, our offline lamination line delivers beautiful results with excellent adhesion, at approximately +$200 per metric ton.
We can help you select the optimal finish based on your target market, budget, and performance requirements.
