To enhance product rigidity, steel or wood strips can be co-extruded from PVC. This satisfies strength requirements while preventing corrosion of the internal steel. I would be happy to provide such a Aluminum-plastic co-extrusion tooling if needed.
Production Process:
1. A 65/132 extruder with a feed angle of 45 or 90 degrees is needed for extruding the outer plastic layer.
2. A traction machine is needed to clamp the internal steel strips and co-extrude them synchronously with the 65/132 extruder.
3. The steel strips in the Aluminum-plastic co-extrusion tooling are connected by injection-molded connectors.
4. The surface of the steel strips needs to be manually coated with a ring of EVA adhesive, or granular EVA can be co-extruded using a 25 single-screw extruder.
5. A technical detector must be installed on the extruder to ensure that the cutting saw can accurately cut the middle portion of the injection-molded connector between the steel strips.
