PA66 glass fiber thermal insulation seal extrusion tooling

PA66 glass fiber thermal insulation seal extrusion tooling is mainly used for thermal insulation of aluminum alloy doors and windows, placed in the middle layer to prevent heat conduction! Our company can provide you with design drawings, production process planning, mold operation procedures, mold maintenance procedures, and training for technical workers, etc.

PA66 glass fiber thermal insulation seal extrusion tooling

Key knowledge points of PA66  glass fiber thermal insulation seal extrusion tooling:

1. Best steel: Cold die 440C (HRC58-60), this steel does not rust + hot die S136 (HRC52-54) + base plate 45# steel with heat treatment (28-30HRC) + flange 45# steel without heat treatment.

2. Some factories use H13 for the hot die and DC53 for the cold die (this steel is prone to rust).

3. Some factories also use 9CR18MOV, which is less expensive than DC53, but the hardness can only reach 58-62.

4. PA66 glass fiber thermal insulation seal extrusion tooling die head temperature: 280-290℃; extruder zone 1: 245-255℃; zone 2: 252-262℃; zone 3: 260-270℃; zone 4: 270-280℃; zone 5: 280-290℃; zone 6: 285-295℃.

5. The material needs to be dried at 130 degrees Celsius for at least 2 hours. Generally, the higher the glass fiber content, the lower the temperature should be, unless it’s a high-temperature material.

6. Start-up sequence: Remove the cold mold, discharge the material until each hole discharges evenly and the output is a dry, noodle-like consistency. Stop, replace the cold mold, and remember not to tighten the four screws.

If the four screws are tightened, material will not be discharged from the center. Use a 120-150mm wrench with slight hand pressure.
