ABS Extrusion Tooling

Our company has four single-screw extruders, specializing in debugging engineering plastic molds. ABS Extrusion Tooling is a mature mold we have developed. If you encountr any problems during production, our engineers with 27 years of experience will be happy to assist you.

Precautions during ABS Extrusion Tooling production:

1. ABS has a high shrinkage rate, so the first section of the calibrator should not be too long, as this can create resistance. The second section can be slightly longer.

2. ABS has low thermal conductivity and dissipates heat very slowly. For the same thickness, it cools slower than other materials.

3. Rapid cooling of ABS is absolutely prohibited during production. If the ABS Extrusion Tooling temperature is too low or the cooling water flow is too high, the surface of the product will solidify rapidly while the interior continues to shrink, directly leading to high internal stress, warping, uneven surface gloss, and even cracking in severe cases.

4. Therefore, the mold is usually heated to 40-80℃ to slow down the cooling rate. Most factories use mold temperature controllers to ensure slow and uniform cooling of the product.

Our company has been manufacturing these types of ABS Extrusion Tooling for 27 years. If you encounter any problems during production, please feel free to contact AONA TOOLING. We will try our best to help you solve them by phone or video.
