GRP Extrusion mold
Our company has been manufacturing GRP extrusion mold since 2004. The technology is now very mature. The working principle involves combining glass fiber and glass cloth, impregnating them with a chemical solution, and then heating and curing them. The resulting product has extremely high strength! It can be used in doors, windows, bridge frames, etc., and is corrosion-resistant.
Core Parameters of GRP Extrusion Mold
1:Resins Used in Production:
a. Polyurethane (75-82% glass fiber by weight): Molds using this resin require a glue injection box. GRP Extrusion Mold material: 42CrMo, cavity hard chrome plated; mold length 1.3 meters (400mm glue injection box + 900mm mold);
b. Epoxy Resin (approximately 80% glass fiber by weight): Molds using this resin mostly do not require a glue injection box. Mold material: 42CrMo, cavity hard chrome plated; mold length 900mm;
c. Unsaturated Resin (approximately 60% glass fiber by weight): GRP Extrusion Mold using this resin… The molds are all made without injection boxes. The mold material is P20 or 1.2311, with hard chrome plating on the cavity. The mold length is 900mm. Steel is inexpensive, so the mold price is about 20% cheaper than the steel used in the molds.
2: the cost of one injection box is approximately 10,000 yuan.
3: the cost of one preform mold is approximately 9,000 yuan.
